Ann was a secretary for the Waco Independent School District for 38 years before retiring.īesides spending time with her family, she enjoyed spending time with her Waco ISD coffee group each month as they have done for many years. She was known as and lived the life of a coach’s wife for over 40 years and loved every minute of it.
They were married for 62 years before his death in 2017. Ann met Wayne while he and his grandmother were having lunch at a café in Merkel and that’s all it took. She married the love of her life, Wayne McLean, on December 20, 1954, with a small wedding at home with family and close friends present. She graduated from Trent High School and went on to Business School.
